Company Policy

Payment:

Great American Travel accepts payment by check, cashier's check, VISA, MasterCard or Discover. If payment is made by check, the furniture can be shipped after the check has cleared the bank (usually about 10 days).

Credit card payments can be called into Great American Travel at (504) 885-1845 or 1-800-808-0123 or faxed to us at (504) 885-1845 with a copy of your driver's license and the front and back of the credit card. DO NOT e-mail your credit card number to us.

Delivery:

Great American Travel ships coast to coast with complete setup of your furniture by a  two man team. We ship most furniture within 10-14 days.

Orders of $1,599.00 or more incur a $149.00 charge for delivery, placing the furniture in the room of your choice (no more than two flights of stairs), and set up of any furniture that does not require tools. Orders less than $1,599 incur delivery charges starting at $229.00.

White Glove Service: For an additional $50.00 charge, the two man team will set up any furniture that requires a tool.

Damage:

All furniture is sent to a central warehouse for inspection prior to delivery to your home. Should there be damage, any item can be sent back with the driver for replacement. The damaged piece must be noted as "DAMAGED" on the freight bill and signed by you and the driver.

When signing the delivery bill the words "concealed damage or damaged out of the box" can not be used. Since all furniture is new from the factory anything stating "concealed damage or damaged out of the box" will not allow the factory to replace a damage piece. Should there be damage just write on the bill the piece and a brief note of the damage.

Cancellation or Returning an Order:

Orders may be cancelled within three working days of placing the order. After the third day, orders may not be cancelled.

Should there be an agreement between the purchaser and Great American Travel for an item or order to be returned, a restocking fee of 25% of the purchase price and the total delivery charge  and return charge will be paid by the purchaser.

When you order or purchase an Great American Travel product, you may be required to give us contact and payment information (such as credit card information) so we may process your order. When you pay for an Great American Travel product using a credit card, we use your credit card information only to fulfil your order and for other internal purposes. If you place an order through our website, one of our customer service representatives will call or email you after you have placed the order to fulfil the transaction you have requested.

If you contact one of our customer service representatives, we may ask you for information such as your name, address and email address so we can respond to your questions or comments. With your consent, we may retain this information to personalize your experience with us and better assist you the next time you contact us.

Other information you provide to us Through surveys, you may provide us with information such as product preferences, reasons for purchasing a product, family and lifestyle information to help us learn more about your shopping preferences. You also may provide such information when you fill out a warranty card about a product you purchased from Great American Travel. In addition, you may give us such information if you register for or redeem Great American Travel special offers, discount coupons or other promotions.

Does Great American Travel share the information it obtains about me with third parties?
Great American Travel does not share personal information about its consumers with any third parties outside the Great American Travel corporate family for their own marketing purposes. However, we may do so within the Great American Travel corporate family.
